Bonifacio ( Corsica in Bunifaziu , pronounced [ bu.ni.va.d͡zju ] in Bonifacio Bunifazziu ) is a French commune located in the department of Corse-du-Sud in the Corse region . It belongs to the micro-region of Freto , which occupies the southern end of the island.Its inhabitants are of Bonifacio ( Bunifazinchi or Bunifazini in Corsican, Bunifazzini in Bonifacio ) .
Palombaggia is a locality situated in the municipality of Porto -Vecchio in Corse-du-Sud between the hamlets of Picovaggia and Bocca dell'Oro . Its white sand beaches framed by red rocks , lined with pine trees , facing the Cerbicale islands are said to be among the most beautiful in Corsica.

Bonifacio (en corse Bunifaziu, prononcé [bu.ni.ˈva.d͡zju ], en bonifacien Bunifazziu) est une commune française située dans le département de la Corse-du-Sud en région Corse. Palombaggia est un lieu-dit situé sur la commune de Porto-Vecchio en Corse-du-Sud entre les hameaux de Picovaggia et de Bocca dell'Oro. Ses plages de sable blanc encadrées de rochers rouges, bordées de pins parasols, face aux îles Cerbicale, passent pour être parmi les plus belles de Corse.
